This policy explains how Blitz Golf Pty Ltd (we, us) collects, uses and protects your personal information. We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles and, for people in the UK, the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. For UK purposes, Blitz Golf Pty Ltd is the data controller. Our ticketing partner Flicket processes ticketing data on our behalf.



What we collect

• Contact details: name, email, phone, postcode, city and country

• Order details: events attended, tickets and add-ons bought, order history and waitlist sign-ups

• Event data: ticket scans and check-ins

• Marketing preferences and how you engage with our emails and SMS

• Website and device data collected through cookies and tracking pixels

We don't collect or store full card details. Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment provider.



Where it comes from

• From you, when you buy tickets, join a waitlist, enter a competition, sign up to our newsletter or contact us

• From our ticketing providers, including records from previous Blitz Golf events

• From cookies and pixels on our website and ticketing pages



Marketing

We only send you marketing emails or SMS if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us. We will still send service messages about tickets you hold.



Advertising and tracking

We use cookies and pixels (including Meta and Google) to measure our ads and show relevant ads. We may share hashed contact details with advertising platforms to show you relevant ads or to exclude you from them. If you have opted out of marketing, we will not use your details to target you with ads. You can manage cookies in your browser and ad preferences in your social media accounts.



Who we share it with

• Flicket, our ticketing platform, and Stripe, our payment provider

• Host venues and golf clubs, for entry and safety

• IT, email, hosting and advertising service providers

• Sponsors and partners, only if you have opted in to hear from them

• Professional advisers, regulators and law enforcement where required by law

We do not sell your personal information.



Overseas transfers

We operate in Australia and the UK, and our service providers may store data in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the US and the EU. Where we transfer UK data overseas, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.



How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as needed for the purposes above, including tax and legal requirements, then delete or anonymise it.



Your rights

You can ask to access or correct your information at any time. If you are in the UK, you can also ask us to delete it, restrict or object to its use, or transfer it, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact us using the details below.
